We are looking for dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologists to join our team, serving in the school setting on-site in Katy, Texas. The SLP will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders among school-aged children.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Texas.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred (CF candidates welcome)
  • Experience working with school-aged children, especially in educational settings.
  • Knowledge of various speech and language disorders and treatment methodologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, and school personnel

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct formal and informal evaluations and re-evaluations as well as all other professional activities consistent with timelines and requirements of the law, rules and regulations, and local district policies and procedures.
  • Compile formal and informal information from a variety of sources into a written report to assist in the determination of eligibility, educational need and identification of programming needs utilizing the district's template.
  • Coordinate and/or participate as a member of the ARD committee.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring speech therapy services.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students to improve communication skills, articulation, language, fluency, and voice abilities.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support students’ academic and social success.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student data/progress.

Position Details:

  • Full-time for the 2024-2025 school year.
  • Up to 37.5 hours per week / M-F.
  • Open to part-time if preferred.
  • Elementary-High school age caseload options based on preference
